This Virgo, currently residing in Brooklyn, was born in Far Rockaway, New York, an Artist. ItsReaLight's passion is poetry but not limited. She is also a very talented vocalist, thesbian, visual artist, dancer, playwright, and orator.

Light is a radical and plans on staying that way. She once stood up against an entire school administration, because they refused to recognize the Black National Anthem during Black History month. Her foundation as a Revolutionary stems from her being a first generation 'American' born to Latin/Caribean parents(Mother's family from St. Vincent and Father's from Belize/Guatamala). Light refuses to be ruled by statistics and uses her artistry as a harness to keep her from falling off the cliff of life.

 Currently, Light is working on pilot for BET entitled The Reel, "The Complex; The Album" CD, "The Harriet Tubman Complex" campaign, and Voices 2 Visuals (A Open stage mixed with Independent film show).

"I rather tell the truth and hurt feelings, than lie" is her code to life. Her poetry is direct, inspirational, passionate, and full of vision. Due to the strength of her performance she is often refered to as Harriet Tubman. This is an honor, because Harriet Tubman is remembered as a strong Black woman who is always ready to help her people through oppression. Powered by her belief in God, her light is like the lanterns in the windows of the Underground Railroad; full of hope.

Harriet Tubman, the well known Mother Moses of our people, spirit still lives on. This show will have you believe that Harriet never died, but that she was simply in deep rest awaiting to awake in a soul likened to hers. ItsReaLight is the Millennium Harriet and proves it in this dynamic display of Poetry, Song, and Play. She takes you on a journey through time, showing that we are still enslaved and she is still the conductor of freedom. This is the true definition of voices to vibes.
